Hatha Yoga Yoga taught in the Himalayan Tradition, including yoga philosophy and breathing in addition to postures (asanas). Classes are taught in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Private Classes By Appointment - $85 Can't make it to a full session? Do you want to focus on your individual practice? Private sessions are for you. Beginning Hatha Yoga 2023 Mondays 6:00 - 7:15 pm (8-week sessions) September 11 - October 23, 2023 (7 weeks) October 30 - December 18, 2023 This level is for those with little or no yoga experience, those recovering from or dealing with injuries or those wanting to get back to basics. Intermediate Hatha Yoga 2023 Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:15 pm (8 week sessions) September 12 - October 24 (7 weeks) November 7 - December 19 (7 weeks) This level is for those who have attended at least three beginning level sessions or with permission of the instructor. We will delve deeper into postures already learned, as well as learning new postures. Restorative Yoga 2023 TBD Give yourself a gift. Join Dena for a four-week restorative yoga class. We will prop the body with blankets and pillows, allowing the muscles to passively stretch and relax more fully into familiar postures. Workshops - 2023Workshops are held via Zoom until further notice. Foundations of Ayurveda Date and time TBD Begin enjoying better health! Discover the ancient, holistic, preventative and healing "science of life." Explore basic Ayurvedic principles, including the tri-dosha model (vata, pitta and kapha). You will leave with an enhanced understanding of your unique nature, allowing you to make simple changes to improve your health and well-being. Superconscious Meditation 2023 Cost: $40.00 Saturdays 10:00 am-12:00 pm September 16 October 14 Wednesday 6:00 pm-8:00 pm September 20 October 25 Practicing meditation brings a deeper inner awareness and offers many proven benefits, including stress reduction, increased immunity, reduced blood pressure and enhanced mental acuity, to name a few. In this workshop you will learn the essential steps of meditation, in the method taught by the Himalayan Yoga Tradition. Meditation Practice - 4 week session Cost: $60.00 Saturdays 10:00 am-11:00 am TBD Wednesdays 6:00 pm-7:00 pm TBD This class provides an opportunity for those who have learned the Superconscious Meditation technique to begin integrating the practice into your life or to refresh your practice.
